I’m Pete, an advocate of everything outdoors, muddy shoes, smelly socks and stupid vest-related tan lines. I’m trying to pursue a more active and adventurous day-to-day by taking on increasingly silly physical challenges and long, human powered adventures.
10,000 miles of adventures and counting...
I left my stable and secure office job in Actuarial consulting in spring 2018. I have since cycled over 15,000km through 21 countries in Europe & Asia, running 8 marathons around Europe along the way. In early 2019 I ran 400 miles across Sri Lanka before abandoning a first attempt to run across Japan. I kicked off my time away from the office by climbing the UK three peaks and cycling between them all. I am planning bigger, longer and tougher adventures.
